@b3 this is our only “union” to get employees connected and informed. I just wish we could strike.

Sorry you were laid off.
There are a lot better companies out there. Though no company is immune from layoffs, most don't layoff several times a year.
Far better corporate cultures than OT as well. Things will get better.
