Last few town halls, CEO in jeans and boots with huge belt buckle, now COO with jeans, sneakers, no collar shirt. Is this now the business casual standard? If so, I’m here for it.

If you wanted to make a heartless robot look more human you'd dress them in jeans and sneakers too. BTW what is it with RV and those stack heels??
Always a follower, never a leader.
It used to be you could ask legitimate questions at a town hall. As soon as they went to this contrived dog and pony show with pre-meditated questions and answers, who gives a f$$ck. Who wants to hear the bootlickers ask another question about doing better for our clients? We all want to hear what they are going to do for employees and sadly that is no longer an agenda for the c-suite management team
Post ID: @b2+1khrggfd0 I noticed and that’s with mgmt forcing those of us who do attend.
Could also be because over half the employee base is no longer in the US. They will only attend a TH if they are guaranteed an opportunity for kissing the decision makers ring and getting recognized.
Notice that the views of town hall videos are always super low compared to to number of employees which means nobody gives a sh-t
Yes. Pretty soon in the BNY store, you’ll find branded items su-k as a BNY B_tt plug, BNY gimp mask, leather chaps, real life Eliza doll and new coffee mugs
Eliza is crafting a hipster-inspired humanoid version of RV to fuel our booming commercial and cultural scene.
In their effort to be viewed as being "visionaries" and "ahead of the curve", they follow the same cookie-cutter standard "tech guy" uniform that every other overpaid, egotistical dipsh!t wears to "work":
- Puffer vest and/or jacket
- Hoodie
- Trendoid t-shirt
- Some sort of "rebel inspired" accessories (belt buckle with hidden blade, necklaces and rings that open up to hold dr-gs, bracelets that convey "memberships" or affiliations in/with certain "clubs" such as the red string, or those big round beaded ones)
- "Fun" socks featuring childish patterns and prints
- "Dress sneakers" with brown leather uppers and cream colored soles
- Dorky facial hair
- Even dorkier haircut
- Earbuds
- Meta glasses
- Fake laugh
Wait for the unicycle stunt and the amazing disappearing act... only if you're here for the next quarterly clown hall.
