¡Ay, caramba! ¡Que estupido!
@OP Does anyone know if a Fortune 100 company can be ran by almost all temporary contractors and succeed?
Do you think this partial role change and move is for the purpose of ramping up LATAM’s IT dept. by outsourcing more jobs and eliminating a massive number of US jobs?
@b2 hilarious it’s pathetic what we rely on now for leading as we go deeper into the pit of declining volume
PepsiCo has a history of rewarding the undeserving.
From one of the post from Magesh !!
Growing up, Magesh didn’t dream of titles - he was focused on survival. Moving across schools and cities taught him resilience and adaptability. Later, working in remote factories under harsh conditions gave him a superpower: bringing people along toward a common goal.
Every leader is busy in praising themselves - I guess proving their candidacy for EVP role.
A power play!!! LATAM is sc--wed!!! Making an IT failure with no food/beverage legacy, it Ramon all over again. Get out while you can! The ship is going down quickly.
AKs self aggrandizing posts on LinkedIn have started
Who’s gonna take Athina’s place -
Magesh - ?
Dave - ?
Or someone new

Here’s the bit in the Ramon announcement about AK:
LatAm Foods
In Latin America, Athina Kanioura will take on the role of CEO, Latin America Foods in addition to her work as Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer. Paula Santilli has decided to retire after an extraordinary 35-year career with the company. Under Paula’s leadership, the region has kept growth at the center — growth of our businesses and brands and, most importantly, growth of our people. A tireless advocate for people everywhere, she mentored countless colleagues, authored influential leadership books, and earned global recognition — including being named among Forbes’ Most Powerful Women. Her legacy of strategic clarity, inclusive teams, and unwavering commitment to talent development will continue to inspire for years to come. Paula’s retirement will take effect next July, and in the meantime, she will support Athina’s transition.
Athina brings an impressive track record of success that includes standing up S&T as a new organization and leading the ongoing transformation of our global capabilities, systems and processes. She’s also played a key role in defining our 2030 strategy and resetting our operating model. Athina is a brilliant leader with a unique ability to connect disparate concepts and the vision to balance priorities across horizons. She has a deep understanding of the technology that is transforming almost every aspect of our business — and an even deeper respect for the people who make it all possible.
Under Athina’s guidance and with her continued S&T leadership role, LatAm Foods will accelerate work to become a major hub for digital-first solutions and ways of working, driving operational excellence and growth. The teams will leverage synergies under Athina’s joint group leadership to pilot innovation, from incorporating AI into our go-to-market systems, to testing Operating Unit of the future and launching new culinary creations that excite consumers.
