They had a 30 minute extra Q&A after the AEM about the future of the OP campus. Anyone hear anything new about that?

Texas Rangers are reportedly moving to Frisco from Arlington across from Cowboys practice facility.
@mj I know, I know… that was too generous.
@kx Same productivity? ARE YOU HIGH?
@k5 nah, it’s because Indians are cheap labor. Same productivity at half the cost. And they don’t have to pay child care for their dozens of kids.
I think everything except retail, sales and executives should be moved to India. That will save a lot of operating costs plus Indian workers are 200% more productive than Caucasians.
They’ll most likely choose the cheapest and best incentive location. I think they’re looking to be as lean as possible and expect/hope talent will follow or just be outsourced to another country where overhead isn’t a concern.
Austin would be another terrible decision. IT leaders and other top talent want to live in OP, Kansas.
New HQ is being considered for Austin, Texas.
@f4 frisco II cafe area getting renovated next year, including a froyo cart like HQ. onsite gym is supposed to come in 2027.
@ec Frisco like lots of places these days was great when we first moved into it, the only other buildings nearby were to the south. We use to have two buildings, but when Little Elm was all fields. Now its just an overpriced white collar ghetto like Snoqualmie Heights. Tmo still owns the 6 story building that was the MetroPCS HQ at 2250 Lakeside Blvd Richardson, TX 75082 which wouldn't be a bad replacement for Frisco.
They should make an office in Austin, TX. The Frisco building is trash and obviously the Sprint’s campus days are numbered with the Royals deal. Need a solid Midwestern city with nightlife and culture the Bellevue crowd would find acceptable!
@b6 Ahem the mortgage was owned by Wichita-based Occidental Management who defaulted on it in August by failing to make a 200 million dollar balloon payment.
@b2 They've bought the LEASE. T-Mobile has the lease through 2029. Here's T-Mobile's statement:
“Our campus supports over 3,500 T-Mobile employees, with plans for growth, and cannot accommodate both our workforce and a stadium,” T-Mobile said in a statement on Tuesday. “With our lease running through mid-2029 and our extension request denied, we’ll explore new locations, preferably within the city and state, if the Royals proceed while continuing to work with the City and community leaders on a solution.”
@aw the group that owns the KC Royals bought the office park that used to be Sprints HQ. They want to build a stadium there. Tmo says you do, we're outta here along with 13k jobs.
@ak explain
@as this is why they are cutting 30%. The people in India write better English!!
Every reply in this thread contradicts the one before it.
Frisco folks better get start looking for houses in OP
2 answers. Jobs moving to OP or Campus closed by March 31.
I'll believe the Jobs moving to OP as that's what the Finance folks have been told.
Reading between the lines, jobs will be moved to OP
Campus is gone by March 31.
