If you live and worked in NY and you’re in the non working notice period, can you collect NYS Unemployment?

@bs - best thing is go to NY UI portal and read FAQs.
I was laid off first time - Citibank in 2024.
I worked at NYC and lived in NJ but I could only claim from NY then NY UI benefit was low about $500 a week now it is increased to $800 or so.

That is correct , you are on payroll during non-working period so u can’t collect UI benefits
Definitely not you ARE STILL EMPLOYED receiving salary and benefits.
