I didn’t fully connect the dots a couple weeks ago but our leader made sure we saw the update to the in office goal on Workday, and that it meant full days which was at least 6 hours. I didn’t think much of it until yesterday when we saw all of the discrepancies. The tracked number is over 6 hours which they will never tell you because they want 8.

@ak they're going to retroactively do this too, I guarantee it. They'll say "we told you full days months ago".
@ab yes I am counting my commute I am in meetings on vpn on the bus regularly and with the magic of internet I can do it everywhere.
According to the FAQ’s, with IP address being used to tack in office, they have the capability to track time in the office, but are NOT doing it at this time.
I've had days less than 4 counted so idk where this made up 6 is coming from
@a7 so…are you counting your 2 hr commute into your 8 hour day? If so, this is why we are having so many issues.

I had 1h 45m commutes one way every day. My a-s got up early and planned to be home after rush hour. Yup, that meant my day was 12+ hours a day, did it su-k because I had kids? Yes. Did I ultimately have to find a diff job, yes.
Grow up. Act like an adult. Stop whining because you’re being held to normal standards of working.

My commute is 2 hours both ways, I have day care drop offs before 9 and pick ups at in afternoon that I cannot be late for.
I’ll never hit these numbers oh well. Simply doing the best I can.
As I mentioned in a previous thread, if the number really is 6 then the openly stated number needs to be 8. Just like how the real number used to be 11 days/mo but the stated goal was 3+ days a week. Not stating clear requirements and then saying "Well you should've known" is hogshit.
