rocky pillars

Investors hoping for meaningful change may be overlooking a troubling trend: familiar, ineffective leaders are being promoted, gaining more authority to elevate their equally unproductive subordinates. Yep, all this means is the survivors will have to get ready for the next rounds in 2027,2028 to help the company "close the gap". Meanwhile these so called leaders will be that much closer to retirement.

Welcome to the american system of greed. Lack of leadership is rampant across the country, in corporate, and in government. Nobody has the spine to do what is correct for the country. The status quo is to do what is easiest while returning the most to their pocket while sc--wing the rest of the populace. Our leaders are not leaders, they're smooth talking manipulators that fear upsetting those above while sc--wing those below. A revolution in consciousness is needed from the masses.

The leadership team selected so far represents a shining example of cronyism and the rewarding of boot lickers in the history of CVX. They are even trying to hide it any longer. The dregs of the workforce are now being moved in to our top leadership.

@az+1jts5dg46... Preach it. I hope more and more people start to realize that. The TSR gets MW and his cronies more money and LTIP. Money is the only reason we are going through all of this, they get richer we might lose our job.
MW is going to be retiring within the next year or two, and he wants to ensure he has even more 10's of millions than he already does.

All wall st cares about is increasing dividend and cutting cost. Management will keep ramping up engine to cut costs even if the quality ain't there. Long term, best that can happen to Chevron is being bought by someone.
