This old utility is a sinking ship. Lowell and Hans tried to diversify and made nothing but poor choices. They managed to steer us right into the iceberg. More RIFs will follow

Verizon is basically an old school utility company and will just coast along. Its era is long gone, it’ll always make money but it’s been superseded by other companies and sectors (same can be said for telecom in general)

10 years of bad management finally puts an end to a once good company , 10 years of not even putting up a fight to the competition. We were right Hans and Shankar were wrong , now everyone else pays for their hubris and misdeeds. Share holders whose money we squandered , good employees who were gas lighted against their best instincts on following one doomed project after another, good managers who were unceremoniously je-ked around pushed out or superseded by lightweight corrupt and talentless managers we all should have known better than to stick around.
