I used to enjoy working here, but that faded over a decade of slow decline. None of this happened suddenly like some people like to claim. It was a long and steady erosion from one bad decision after another. I miss the Dell that used to feel like a real community.

@ay waste of your breath. Managers won’t do jack. Only thing the are good at is brownosing up or making tu-ds smell like roses. Tell Dell is a joke for eNPS manipulation

Talked to management about Tell Dell a few times. They talked about responding but nothing ever came of it. The people in the group also tried but same results.
@d1 - or their manager didn't get enough replies from the team for the responses to be anonymized. AKA they have a bad manager.
@a6 every manager should have done that months ago. What it means for you is that you have a terrible manager. Which doesn’t surprise me. The managers that are left are horrible.
It is a matter of time when MD will retire and sell the business, he is building high margin base to boost the selling price. No other reason than greed that ruined the once good company. And even though MD and his wife are regular shulgoer, they are not following Moses' teaching.
@a6 They talked about it. But definitely in more cursory terms and obviously cherry picking the ones they did well at mostly. But these are the people who buy themselves awards for employee satisfaction.
@a6 That is something your manager is supposed to go over with their team... Not sure if it's required or not but you could ask for the results I suppose?

Haven't heard anything about the results of Tell Dell this year. Been at Dell for a while. Have never seen this. It is such a red flag. How can you be optimistic when they don't even release the most basic of feedback.
The SHTF been for a while but today I experienced the lowest of the low from an ECS TSE when I called in for support.
He was so rude and unwilling to help, he treated me as an id--t. And in the end he was so wrong and ended up being the id--t himself… Morale gone down the drains. I’m not even going to hide and don’t care if he recognises who I am after reading this. If he reads this.
