It was a bloodbath today. Rumor is the layoff will be complete in Bvl by tomorrow afternoon.

@ay some of the Conoco people were nicer and kinder than the PPCO people. And Conoco employees were the ones who were uprooted.
@av I totally agree! Things went downhill when Phillips took over Conoco. I hated working with Conoco people.
@af So you are putting down Bartlesville and defacto - Ponca City - the two places where CONOCOPHILLIPS was founded. I think the company went on a downward spiral when they moved the headquarters to HOUSTON.

@af I sure as he** hope you are not referring to Bartlesville. I have had 3 generations working for Phillips in Bartlesville. It was a great place to grow up and a great place to raise my kids.
