Stock going into the 30s - FT drop

I think once everyone learns that FT, who is a large client, is dropping the contract and going with a different company the stock will fall even lower. Well into the 30s. How can you have confidence in the company if they constantly get dropped by clients?

@c5 FT was the biggest client for Transfer Agency, which is a small part of FIS. Sadly, they pushed other long term clients to the side for FT. Those clients are now extremely po ‘d. The upper management has ruined this business unit. Promised stuff that wasn’t even possible. Why did no one snag the FT business? Probably because FIS underbid (with little knowledge of what could be done) and/or no one wanted to touch FT. They were users of the old SunGard systems back in the day. All they did was complain, left with buying the systems. No one at SunGard was sad to see them leave. Just more of a headache than value added.

The Modern Banking System is a fraud. Not much progress, clients have left by not signing up for it and looking else where. MBS has very few applications and maybe a couple of limited customers are 'kind of' using it. This failure and lack of future will command more layoffs.

@c5 it is not the biggest client of FIS overall. It was the biggest client of the business group it falls under.

@b6 for those of you scoring at home, Franklin Templeton Investments (FT) was the biggest client of FIS. While many may be unfamiliar due to their positions, it is a critical loss for FIS. It is a catastrophic business failure to lose them as a client. Brace yourselves, it is a surprise that this has not hit the radar yet.

@ax agree! For the longest time I thought it was fifth third bank!!! With FIS being such a large company, I have zero to do with Franklin Tempelton. Not even on our radar. Keep that in mind when you see all the doomsday posts. Things are still bad, but you have no idea where the colleagues posting here work.

Can someone clarify what “FT” is?
Another bad habit of FIS employees showing on a forum about FIS 😂
