Some Retirees have received information about increased benefits ((wireless plans now 50% off)). The letter stated it’s all due to AT&T celebrating 150 years in 2026. Makes me think our COO ain’t leaving just yet.

Yer dern tootin’ whippersnapper!
@ax use form D526
This place hates talking about our history. Our CEO could care less unless it helps in some form or fashion with tax incentives in D.C. Show we're part of the American culture/thread, etc. Otherwise, there's a reason John's dismantled AT&T Labs (aka Bell Labs). He doesn't care about all that cr#p. Just lay fiber and shut up.

India Telecommunications and Telegraph is not the same company that “would” have been celebrating that anniversary. It I suppose like any mentality ill subject, they will claim that they “identify” as the telecom of old.
They are not….
And look, here we are back to working like it’s 150 years ago too. In the office everyday even though we provide the service that allows anyone to work from anywhere. Let me get a cigarette and pull out my typewriter out so I can issue an office memo that my secretary will hand deliver. What a joke.
“ You have to get rid of most of the c-suite and the BoD before this place turns around”
Those pernicious dark triaders most certainly need “gotten rid of”.
"End RTO to start the fix."
