@aw+1jsm8ccav do you know when? Heard similar rumors about middle manners in CIP being let go across the board but figured it was people panicking. Although I agree with the sentiment of this thread. Too many middle managers coasting across Cigna while the actual hard workers get cut.

A months ago our manager told us "I do not expect any more cuts in our department" Two weeks ago, they laid off senior IT people, as well as managers, leading to delays in projects and ticket resolution: "Sorry can't help you, the two leads were laid off, and two senior guys are out using up their PTO" My manager was also laid off, so any existing requests are on hold until someone else can be assigned to transfer them. Work to rule, I have to follow process. My group is no longer able to meet SLAs, so SVP of IT is not happy.

Heard this is happening in CIP from one of my buddies. Reorgs happened and for leaders to keep their existing top players, they're getting rid of the new middle managers coming on. Seems like BS for leaders to keep their friends and sc--w over new faces.
