That's what I would love to know.

I’ve since left claims and joined another carrier but I continue to check in to see if/when they will ever change their static dated philosophy. It appears they still can’t retain talent. Still underpaying. Still dumping old pendings on suckers who stick around. Gross.
Claims is awful ! We are overworked and tired. I have an interview with Progressive next week! Fingers crossed. At least I’ll be getting an end of the year bonus and better pay . I feel bad for the hard working coworkers abs friends I’ll be leaving behind.
The India department is happy. Applause is garbage. A much cheaper option likely than just keeping bonuses. Keep getting the work dumped on and told “it will somehow get done”.
@1htt+1gsaXgd6 Lol, I love how something that was probably truly meant to boost morale/add some joy to the day quickly became “do it or else!” I can’t wait to their to be a “survey” or metric about Applause usage, and then an “action plan” if you don’t “recognize” often enough
The contractors in IT are absolutely toxic.
Claims is so bad it feels like it’s falling apart! But we are told Be Happy. If you complain, then you are labeled a complainer. There is no respite. I’m willing to bet the 50 people who are happy are afraid to say otherwise.
IT is bad too.
The executive VP department is healthy. They sleep well eat well and tout their philosophies for all to adhere.
Be happy. Give recognition for everything and get club points. Saying thank you constantly for everything will make you content. Track all the thank yous and if you don’t give your thank you points out every month you loose them. Another data port to track. Total manipulation. Not helpful. They are forcing everyone to get a happiness lift by forcing everyone to thank everyone? What a desperate move.
"I know at least 50 people over in claims", GTFOH with that d-mb a-s comment. Obviously your not in claims so your comments are not even close. Believe me from experience, it's baaaaad!
Agree with the comment about Legal. While the news about Rhonda is very very sad, in staff counsel the train wrecked before Rhonda and Ricky even got to the station.
The claims thing wasn’t exaggerated. There isn’t one person I know who’s happy in claims and for those who aren’t near retirement, many have left or are in the process of planning their exit strategy. It’s a true mess. Very dysfunctional and in my opinion, toxic.
I think the janitors that work in Northbrook are happy.
Legal - the worst ever
Been in claims for 15 years and in the past 4 years it has become horrible. Xgd6 is likely in hr
We have no complaints over here in ASDU.
I think the situation with claims is overexaggerated based on the people I know over there. None of them speak even close about the evils I see here. I would agree that it sounds like claims has some of the more undesirable conditions and workloads but it also sounds like it is chock full of toxic and sh! tty people that make it a point to exaggerate things over there. I know at least 50 people over in claims in different capacities and none, zero speak even close to as bad about the claims area as I see here. I think there are a lot of bad actors here.
@avq+1gsaXgd6 lol, sales people...
Sales- nothing happens until a sale is made. The rest of the departments are simply necessary overhead
Basically everything but claims...
