Thread regarding Optum layoffs

I'm calling their bluff

They're trying to stress us into resigning. My strategy is quiet quitting. I'll do just enough not to get fired outright. If they want me out, they'll have to pay for the privilege.

If you quit, you are not eligible for unemployment. Find another job, have a start date, then give Optum two weeks notice.

@av yes , scheduler metrics are met by scheduling an appointment , not by # of calls made.

@aq These are my observations re HC operations. Scheduling su-ks. At times I wonder whether the members are even notified of the visits. Members frequently report that they are “literally harassed” by the HC to schedule the visits and only agree for them to stop calling. They mess up routes and times. It is clear to me that their job is to schedule and fill our schedules by any means. Filing field inquiries is utterly pointless. Response is nearly the same all the time. It is becoming increasingly difficult to earn the bonus with their “improvements” and “initiatives.” It’s going downhill fast.

They have increased our metrics at Home & Community making goals now completely unattainable and calling them "stretch goals" - yet in the actual goal itself it does not report that they are "stretch goals".
