COP has very poor respect for the workforce if they don't offer a VSP. The older people deserve to be treated with respect and the VSP is a nice way to do that.

Oxy is doing VSP to reduce humanely 10% of the high earning staff..
It's my understanding that you had the ability to express your interest in being separated up to a certain date. So, if you get that winning lottery ticket, it's a form of VSP.
When a company wants to reduce the staff, nobody should be surprised that the employees all want to win the lottery, and the company wants to spend nothing.
Just remember that the more giveaways there are, the more people have to go to pay for it.
Because the gobbler neck doesn’t want it
@av it's different. Vsp = voluntary separation program. Many companies offer as a means of workforce reduction but put an age restriction on it. No, COP didn't have that, but no one's crying about it.
I thought those laid off do get VCIP? Or are we talking about completely different things?
boo hoo
Ok Oxy. Go troll your own board. You're ignorant.
Because they call it EOI…
They only care about raising the dividend to increase shareholder value
