So far no cuts this year. Is it safe to think our jobs are okay for this quarter? I want to stop stressing and make some plans, but I don't want to get blindsided.

It's very likely many will be relaxing without a job when the cuts are announced this week.

Teradata is a company where you need a Plan B just in case. I left before they could let me go and got a job that paid more. It would be smart to keep looking.
Rephrasing the OP question. Can we get some excitement in next few days? Been relaxing for some time now, then we have plan to relax more. Ready for our quarterly layoff excitement.Do it now, then top with the corporate communication template explaining how we are changing direction and making easy decisions hoping to get noticed in the marketplace.
Wait for the hr rep from India to deny. Go ahead make plans.
Next week. They need to get it done before the All Hands mtg on Feb 12.
