Starting in Q2 they are laying off half of the product org in OptumInsight and moving the jobs to India.

Better then phillipines. I haven't spoken to a competent Filipino Optum employee ever.
@at the grim truth is the people they are talking to are also all in India
@a9 Yeah the town halls are a joke. Like "you are working really hard, we're making billions in profit and making a difference" so your reward is getting no raise, a 401k cut, and we will lay you off this year to reward your dedication. And then in the corporate town halls they are like "we have a bad company image, let's improve the narrative on social media".
Good luck with that for more senior, market facing product roles. They are supposed to be out talking to clients and the market to understand their issues to know what to build. Not sure how that will work for folks on a completely opposite time zone.

Make India Great Again!! Can we get fast tracked to know what jobs remain so we can either leave or stay. There is no communication and the monthly town halls are lame with same old how were impacting patients and fixing healthcare without any detail details. The small stupid comedy in townhalls are not reality with how employees feel inside. Let’s MIGA and do it fast so we can rip the Band-Aid off.
