Thread regarding Solventum layoffs

Is anyone suing?

Just curious if anyone is actually considering legal action against this company

@OP Great suggestion for those over 60 that were hit and served more than 10 years at this company. Class Action Law Suite for Agism. Be ready for the fall of the company it is coming.

It’s not worth it. Just take the package. I’m sitting around waiting to be offered one.

What about filing complaints with the EEOC?

Unfortunately, after 3M got sued for age discrimination during the dreadful Mcnerney era, they've learned how to play the HR game and layoff just enough younger people to make a lawsuit much tougher to win.

Plus for most people, no AIP prorated will be paid out unless you agree not to sue. This is why Bryan loves 4th quarter layoffs. People will have earned almost a full year payout.

Corporate America has become a slave of Wall Street MBAs who thrash companies to meet the next quarter expectations and buyback shares or raise dividends on the backs of long suffering employees.

Throw in paying consultants to come in an recommend massive layoffs while they themselves get bonuses and promotions (like Dom at Kearney).

Just quiet quit if you are still employed. Do not let Bryan and his overpaid cronies like Heather enslave you.
