GO-441-1020 - removing data from network

I AEOI’d today. San Ramon, 20 year tenure, recently (Oct ‘24) promoted to 22. It was a good run but no way am I going to the swamp.

Use the GO-441-1020 form if removing personal data from the network. Source in cyber says severance will be at risk if you remove data without following approved processes.

You had plenty of time to move personal stuff, as the storm clouds have been building for months now.

Just take photos of the screens with your personal phone. Then print them out. Then auto recognition. Or memorize if you have photographic memory.

Good call if you want to keep copies of all your PMPs, pay stubs, R&A awards, etc. that could be useful building resumes, or any other personal business stuff.

Some people start as hourly employees at very low PSG’s.

The form you are asking for is the GO form the OP stated. This is the company approved way to acquire your pay stubs and any other "personal data".

Back before the strict enforcement of security policies, you were allowed to use Chevron resources for personal things, like relocation documentation, personal email, photos, etc. So having personal files on company resources is very common for a 15+ year employee, evidenced by having an official GO form to legally transfer the data.

You should have moved everything to another cloud host long ago. Why store anything at work?

And remember - anything produced on company time belongs to Chevron. When in doubt, don’t take it.

OP here.

If you have personal data on the corporate network you need to use the GO form process to move it external. The form contains instructions for external OneDrive share or USB.

Now that we can’t use USB drives, how would we even get those files off?

I’ve heard we should keep copies of recent pay stubs but I haven’t looked into how. I was just going to email them to my personal Gmail?

OP, what do you mean by removing personal data? Do you mean sending personal data currently stored on corporate network outside the corporate network?

OP - Thanks for the GO form. I am not planning to EOI but I am planning to remove my data before the selections are performed. The environment has become very Cyber / HR / "Chevron fire employees and protect themselves from lawsuits" centric this year. If I get a position in the selection process, I will be happy to work for Chevron. But, it appears the "change the culture" goal is intended to terminate US employees by hiring foreign workers located in countries far, far away from the US. By doing this, Chevron will "change the culture" of the company. So it is time to gather your personal data and make it a monthly process cycle until the last day I am employed at Chevron.
Thanks again for the GO form....
