Come to think about it… yesterday an email was sent two from managers above in the leadership hierarchy chain that our team could have the remaining part of the week to work for home. It was masked by an “Happy Start of Summer.” I received a meeting invite after the close of business titled “catch up” that took place this morning where the layoff was communicated.

I was approaching my one year anniversary as a rehire and was told today that my role was being outsourced to India effective August. Crazy part is, I was approached by a recruiter and sold on the return to Citi. Just to be let go. If I would have known this was going to happen, I would have stayed in my previous position at a different organization that had 0% chance of being outsourced overseas.

Had a meeting saying our group was affected today. Our group has been training cipsil on our c5 and b10 work. Appears they got most of the c5’s today so my assumption is there will be another round coming soon for the 10’s.

Got the termination notice this morning as part of an anonymous “Business update” group call with the MD. Then the official call with my Director. I ma sure many others also today.
They laid off 72 in Fraud, located in Tennessee at 10am this morning

@at for those impacted you will receive your separation agreement in a few weeks. If you are 40 and over you will receive a list of everyone in your segment who was eligible to be laid off and their titles, locations and ages. That's right you wanna know how old someone is - you will find out. if you are under 40 you will not receive this extra bit of information. If you are over 40 you will have a longer window to sign the agreement. You will still have health insurance, you will accrue PTO during WARN, you will have 30 min of access before they remove your access. You can ask for paper copies of your paystubs. Use up all of your FSA/Transit money - before your last day. You still have access to Personify so rack up those giftcards. Consider yourselves lucky you got off before the next previous big wave, so you can focus on job hunting.

@an it takes a few weeks before you are removed from the global directory...you will note in the backend in workday the removed team members will still be visible for WARN purposes.

Was laid off it was a blood bath, special title and small business account opening were affected in San Antonio we had 50% . In our 9 am meeting it had 93 people mixed between multiple department not just account opening
