It’s clear Dan and the board are focused on cost and the location strategy is dead. No point having offices only 30% full and paying 100% cost. Further rifs are going to reduce sites below critical mass. So which ones are in danger?

@fa Denny had no power or say. Just the yes man that got his daily orders.
@bb Decisions about site directionality will be made over the next several months. Every owned non-directional will be put up for sale.
@cn That's 100% true. Sell by building or by floor
@ey John Stratton and Denny Strigl for the win.
@c9 John Stratton has vision. He could have led the company to new heights.
Heard that Verizon is going to monetize all their locations..
@bn which SD told you?
The real estate team has horrible strategy… or the lack of one!!! Talentless group that are just taking orders from people who have no clue running the business. With our cr-p facilities who wants to come in anyways. AT&T is building a NEW campus… TMo has a new campus and building more. Our offices su-k!!!! The real estate and facilities team are the shittiest in the world. And yes Penn 2 isn’t happening. They let go of our good vision leaders… enjoy the ride to the shithole. Dan’s and Alfonso’s shithole that is. And the facilities show how bad they are.
@bn Chat GPT is telling me Verizon is looking to sub-lease it
@bt why ?
My building closed at the end of the year. I was made "Home working"
How can they justify keeping employees from locations that shut down and allowing them to work from home while the majority of the rest of team is in office at hub location!? They will cut those remote people before they cut people at hub office.
Fyi - 2 Penn is gone according to my SD
Rolling meadows has pretty light attendance, but I believe they just renewed the lease in September of last year so I don’t see it closing, not to mention it’s a “regional” hub
@ay you are spot on that is absolutely the case
Say goodbye to Lake Mary.
There is an official list of “VZ Directional Sites”. The trick is getting your hands on the most recent version of it. I had an old copy but I’m sure it’s outdated already.
@as to be pristinely clear -- that is the Verizon location could be on the list to be closed.
Not necessarily those employees at that Verizon work location!
There’s some obvious sites at risk. Take a look around you right now in the office,if there’s more empty seats than occupied you’re probably on the list
