Job changes? Lay offs? When will we know.

MBA position can be eliminated and responsibilities given to the OOM . Most of the MBA have few 1 or 2 direct reports . The OOM has the MBA responsibilities at Bloomingdale’s . Why not run the two the same way .
@as 2 yrs ago the OMM was eliminated from stores that are under 20M so there'll be no elimination of the SMM at those stores
@as SMM’s are capable of doing the OOM job title if they are well rounded and good knowledge of markdowns/rtv’s/truck placement/inventory process, the only thing they would need to learn is the in/outbound/ fulfillment process. My SMM at my store can top my OOM, all my OOM does is be on her desk while my SMM breaks her back working hard.
There will definitely be changes. I thought SMM's job (under 20 million stores) would be eliminated and the job will go to OOM and MBA, even though they pretty much have the same type of jobs.
Last year they announced this upcoming week.
Macy’s is doing very well so there won’t be any.
