Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

CVX can't count: Apparently the engineers are still employed

So after we have to find out second hand from the media instead of showing some Human Energy and respect by letting their employees know first, they submit the wrong headcount for Midland to the labor board. Its supposed to be around 200 from a reputable source. This reorg has obviously been poorly managed by the mouth breathers that got us here in the first place.

No you’re fine at math, just not rětäřd math. Remember that these percentage targets are always cited globally. “15-20%” sounds better than 25-50% in American jobs.

@a3 they’ll need to start losing money, that’s when the incompetence will stop. Just gotta hope you’re still around before that happens. Chevron is planning on becoming a holding company

The difference between the 800 reported and the 200 in MCBU was probably meant for Houston location. The other 600 would make sense for a Houston address.

Most of the incompetence is all right here logged in to this site so it should be pretty easy rounding them all up. JS

The real question is will they admit their mistake or go ahead and fire 400 more so they don’t look bad.

Its sad too that MF is telling the ELT they're not showing the organization chart because it will cuase chaos with the workforce, how disconnected is our ELT that everything they are doing is only making it worse. Incidents are up and they are still foolishly pushing for Mission A Million before BH leaves. Seriously how many more people are going to get hurt because this reorg is being run into the ground by incompetence.
