@f4

This wouldn't surprise me at all (even though it's purely rumor). I feel like most of that is going to be felt in Long Beach and GFL. I'd love someone to tell me why I'm wrong, but I cannot see it landing any other way. Folks are really struggling out there it seems to deliver anything.

There is an aura of "not caring" right now with a certain program that has been the subject of many recent conversations on this board. It's like the limbo time before they cancelled FNV4 where no one was hearing anything and just waiting for the next shoe to drop. What's going on out there? No one seems to be talking. Either they have their heads down doing what should have been completed months (and I mean months) ago or they are waiting for something similar to what happened in May '25.

@ar: DF has enough money already to last several of our lifetimes. Cost the company billions of dollars and thousands of jobs with bad strategy. He doesn't have to worry about feeling safe about keeping a job.

Well, GM laid off 500-600 people in IT today, Farley will follow Mary’s lead shortly.

Lot of impromptu meetings today and last week. Whispered conversations that end up moving to a conference room.
Don't know what's going on.

Who cares? Do we really need to work?

@a5 Lest anyone think this is anything but rubbish...DF spent many a town hall telling us we should never feel safe in our jobs. One of the greatest satisfactions of 2026 is knowing that DF was included in that. Good riddance!

@a5

You're right about the Re-org. The sentiment as to if it's right or wrong though is the reason you continue to be abused with down votes here. :)

Without DF fighting for us and his team, I fear the organizations he built may be reorganized by the remaining management. Which is wrong on many levels.
