Commute expenses just keep climbing. It's not only gas, everything is just getting more expensive. Only my paycheck is still frozen at WFH-era levels.

My role has always been 100% travel. They recently moved my home office and took away my travel miles. This is how you get people who stop caring.
If you are performing at 95% success and leave because they make you commute at higher expense to sit alone in office instead of sitting alone at home, they will replace you with someone who is an 80% performer at a salary less than yours but who commutes with no complaint, and claim responsible growth.
"Why demand excellence when barely good enough is still good enough?" - BM, I'm sure.
Each team is different and if you happen to have a manager who knows how to maneuver and protect the team around BofA BS and you are valued you will have no problem however I still recommend you find another place to work. The BS at BofA is a swamp don’t get caught find a way out.

BM and leadership don't care about you or your problems. They are on the top of the totem pole and you're buried so deep in the dirt they don't even know you exist.
