Trump, 79, Accidentally Reads Marco Rubio’s Private Note Out Loud

Via new republic.com

“You’re all gonna do very well—Marco just gave me a note. ‘Go back to Chevron, they want to discuss something,’” Trump read, turning to look at Chevron Vice Chairman Mark Nelson. “Go ahead, I’m going back to Chevron, Mark.”

Rubio grimaced uncomfortably, as Trump patted him on the back. “Thank you, Marco,” he said.

“Was there a question, Mr. President?” Nelson asked.

“Yes, go ahead Marco, what are you saying here?” Trump asked, inspecting the note again.

@ar I agree
The oil companies have 3 years for Trump to create safety and stability in Venezuela before they need to invest money. Chevron is in the best position to expand so we will see what Chevron can can implement before anyone else needs to risk their own money

I wouldn’t underestimate him. There’s a strong chance he did it deliberately to teach a lesson, either to Rubio or Chevron. I’m betting on Chevron.

Lol, remember the quaint old days when Rex Tillerson became his sec of state, could have told the guy at the time, but any serious individual in DJT's orbit for 5 min finds out quick smart what they are dealing with, and noone survives it untainted. Only village id--ts and sycophants remain.

At his age, the impulsive blurting of information is a symptom of fronto-temporal dementia. So is the confabulation - telling lies that he believes are true. Oil companies need to be careful with their pocketbooks - just because he says something really convincingly, doesn't mean it's actually true.

@OP And this is who CVX is pinning their hopes on? He can turn on a dime. The other execs are smart enough to stay far away from the chaos

I am more impressed Mr. President can read the note without having to put on readers.

The impressive part of that is that DJT could even read, considering he never got past Scholastic Reader Level 1.
