From what I’m hearing, I can only conclude that the reorg will end up being a sh-tshow. We’re losing good people left and right, and some orgs are shedding significant numbers. Best of luck to everyone who has already been contacted.

this show will last till end 2026

Just saw two top preformers walk with no EOI for other companies. No backfill. Who will be left? This isn't a bo-m/bust layoff, this is a transformation but not sure it's for the better.
In wells I see large number of 50+, PSG 26’s leaving. Should make thinks easier for us remaining.
Honestly if leadership doesn't care that a few good people self selected, why should I? I'm here to get paid so I can meet my financial goals. That's it. Everyone who wants to stay should be thanking their lucky stars that the herd is weeding itself out.
Very talented people are walking out the door not even waiting for EOI.
It’s the most pathetic thing I’ve ever seen in any company
It's the beginning of the end of cvx.
Let's be honest. The smart ones will find a job outside. The rest will just be hanging around until ENGINE will forcibly replace them. Eventually, ENGINE will become too expensive and that will be the end as there won't be any other workforce that will be cheaper. Maybe china.... lol.
I completely disagree with @ar+1jq7fgpzf. I know multiple coworkers who AEOI’d who are rockstars or a HUGE loss of basin knowledge
Nobody at Chevron higher up cares. They will collect that top dollar paycheck until Chevron goes belly up.
The people in my group that AEOI'd were probably the best choices to self select. I'm not sure they would have made it through the selection process as their reputations aren't very high. So I think some of the people self selecting were weaker employees.
It’s disgusting because this place is self-sabotaging. Just like our MCPs, engine has taken too long, isn’t as cheap as we thought it would be, and won’t keep us competitive.
Valuable people are fed up and ejecting whether they’re close to retirement or not.
What about those that want to stay. I have a friend at Chevron that I’m worried about.
@a6 why is it disgusting? If it's people that have saved a significant amount of money and don't need to work to retirement age, what does it matter that they're leaving? Genuinely curious and not trying to be combative.
My group is losing three top people who aren’t even retirement age. it’s disgusting.
It already is a $hitShow, dawg-breath. And most good people have already hauled a$$, like me, lmao!
