You can ask all you want!!! They don’t answer anything that’s not in their script . More likely you will get redirected to their RIF operational FAQ & resources. Do not waste your time asking anything here, unless you want to see what BS they make up!!
The only questions you really need to ask, is when you can take your outstanding PTO. They have a whole operation setup to deal with RIF'd employees, from a group meeting to review the forms you need to fill out, what benefits you are eligible for and a Q& A section. Pretty much the only question you need to ask, is about taking your outstanding PTO and when you can start. During my end time i only worked 2 -3 days a week for the rest of my 30 days. And I still had some time left that I donated to in need employees.
Hey spark! What questions should I ask when being RIFd.
@ar+1jh69dxdf That’s a better question if the departing city is Boston or San Francisco.
@ar+1jh69dxdf - Here's the answer top your math quiz: Neither train ever reaches that distance because the conductors get laid off before they can get there. 🫤
At 3 PM
Ask the this: A train leaves Chicago traveling west at 60 miles per hour. An hour later, at 12 noon, another train leaves Chicago traveling east at 80 miles per hour. When are the two trains the same distance from Chicago?
This sounds like someone trying to see who is/isn't on this site...I'd be real careful taking advice from this thread. Anyone whose been laidoff knows there not going to answer anything truthfully.
You don’t really need to ask questions. You will get a packet sent to you about 2 days after you’re told outlining all of your benefits, weeks of supplemental employment benefits your eligible for etc. Then HR will have benefit meetings set up for you to ask questions if anything is unclear.
