I turned paperwork in for severance and my ticket got closed last month. I keep checking ADP site and still no indication of if I’ll receive a payment. Only thing I see is I can sign up for payments on a card. Will severance be paid out direct deposit or am I expected to sign up for a card? HR system is a mess with not being able to speak to a live person. Anyone else struggling to get through to HR for severance info?

Not anymore
Not sure what class of employee or sub-org posted this, but for me and everyone I know, severance is paid in the same way and according to the same schedule as regular payroll, until severance is exhausted. This starts 7 days after the paperwork is received and processed.
Assuming the IRIF paperwork is submitted on time.
Go to your local labor board or something similar in your area.
There is no way to call anyone, you must email alumni@xerox.com. You get an auto-reply quickly but no human addresses your concern in a reasonable timeframe. Also the messages sent back when they finally arrive have no reference to the issue originally identified. Terrible service, barely helpful.
I heard they just cancelled all severance.
@dc Call HR. Great suggestion. Nobody would have ever thought of that. You are a GD genius. Should we "sell more" too? How about "work harder"? Thanks SB I didn't know you posted here....
You need to speak to your assigned HRBP (HR Business Partner) for your business unit? Someone from HR (like an HR Admin. Assistant) should be able to answer that. If you have no luck, try calling the main number or reaching out to Recruiting telling them you cannot reach anyone in HR. They should have that info because they work with not just hiring managers but also HRBPs. Good luck.
Ok looks like first payment showed up on ADP site this afternoon thanks. Good luck on next go around my fellow Xeroids.
Scooped I tells ya
I asked recently and got this hope it helps see bemow
Please note that severance payments commence only after Xerox HR receives your signed release form and the 7-day rescission period has passed. Once this period concludes, Payroll will initiate payments according to your regular pay cycle.
For Bi-weekly pay schedules:
The first installment will be processed in the next available pay run following the expiration of the rescission period.
If your severance package exceeds 12 weeks, we will adjust the bi-weekly payments to ensure the full amount is disbursed within a 12-week timeframe.
Mine took over 6 months.
They scooped it
@aq You'd think the "tech giant" would be more efficient at processing workers out the door by now.
