Anyone that received a VERP payout, did they withhold an enormous amount of taxes? I realize it's supplemental income but I'm hearing more like 50% for individuals that already received payouts in Waves 1 and 2.

It comes out to about 27% if you live in Texas. If you live in a state with income taxes, then more is withheld.
I would have expected that considering the way bonuses are taxed
