It seems to me that they didn’t think much at all when they made big cuts, nor after that with hiring and overhiring new people. While some departments are staffed with a lot more hires than needed, others have one person doing a triple workloads. They don't seem to know their workforce at all, nor do they care much about the company's needs for employees.

This is all part of transformative growth. Everything is fine. They will have all of your jobs outsourced in no time. 5 employees for the price of one. Bargains abound overseas. They just need you for a little while longer. All the hiring is a ruse. Don’t fall for it. We are not growing in the USA at Allstate. The growth is transformative and it’s in India.
