Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Drummers blueprint

Surprised nobody has mentioned it... Or did everyone give up after the volume level was quieter than a whisper and they didn't manage to fix it.

DXCs executive leadership is poor. The company is always in some type of transformation, yet Drummer and his peers remain to execute the next transformation. Not sure why the CEO doesn’t fire these executives reporting to him as they aren’t doing anything productive to move this company forward. It’s a shame, most of the employees are checked out. They fire the wrong people and keep those not as productive but are cheaper.
My last day is August 29th, on to a better opportunity. Get out when you can.

What I see around me is that most people have mentally checked out. Sure, they say they’re busy — but busy doing what, exactly?

The truth is, none of us need this company anymore. It’s not built for the fast-paced world of AI. It’s stuck in the dark ages of selling hours — where the longer things take, the more revenue we earn. But AI doesn’t work like that. AI is about outcomes — polished, fast, intelligent solutions that improve over time.

They stopped caring about staff morale long ago. And by that, I mean the basics: paying people fairly, equitably, and with respect and balance in and across teams.

It feels like leadership set this ship on a crash course, hoping someone would buy it before it hit the rocks. But now, it looks more like everyone is more willing to let it sink — At least they can swoop in as “saviours” when clients panic and need help fast. I for one, could be one of those savours for the right money. But by then will have walked so far from DXC, good luck finding me.

How can DXC be failing, Drummer has been in the job 5 years plus and keeps on saying his changed this and that, and reorgd about 4 times in this period. Everytime he changes sonething he reckons its "positive mindset, customer first, delivery excellence..." just buzz words no meaning

So he's booked a nice band that can play "Abide with me", and has re-arranged deckchairs on the promenade deck numerous times, but the iceberg has still been hit and the good ship DXC is still slowly settling below the waves ...

Are you saying he has not earned the massive raise he got early in fiscal year 2025 to his base pay, bonus, and stock? He is now the 2nd highest paid person in our company (other than del buono’s massive $22 million stock grant he has earned for his leadership helping to drive the stock down almost 50% by pushing Bowlville and the IBMers on DXC).

How many iterations will it take before he can say actual growth, paying people fairly, sad how he can make false promises at the top knowing they can ever grow DXC.

Simply not capable is a more accurate representation of his last 5 years.

Even his weight has shrunk alittle, that the only positive growth we have seen.

@ap started with describing the many ways dxc is failing at and then used a thousand buzzwords to cheerlead dxc out of it.

If only he'd had pompoms then I am certain his plan would be a success.

I gave up on the call pretty early when they talked about us having less DCs than company X, after they "strategically" sold the DCs.
