OPG ROM?

What’s all this about the brass announcing an OPG ROM verbally at the SR town hall ?

I have also always enjoyed the almost unlimited opportunities in a ROM. I like the ability to be able to start off with a clean slate, kind of a reset for everything. Also they need to clean out the so-called "deadwood" to open up some space. Totally agree. Win-win

If they are thinking that they will be getting away with badge tracking they better have another thought coming. I will be outta here ASAP. They can have it. There's no way that I am going to be accountable for actually working 2 or 3 ENTIRE days a week much less 4 or 5. You guys on this site, please let me know when you get even the slightest hint of that. I am used to gravy train, WFH, do what you want, when you want, etc. Work if you want, (very little, if at all) don't when you don't. I hope I get a heads up on that, because the minute I hear that we have to actually work, I'm gone. Adios, amigos!

CVX senior management resisted the WFH concept for years. It takes away there one biggest management technique. Is your rear end in the chair? Look at how senior management has sc--wed up things. Do you think that they are using some sophisticated system to gauge your performance? They aren't that smart. They were chosen early in their work career to be on the fast track. People will be laid off same way they have always done it for years.

Badge tracking seems like an extremely dull tool to track your productivity. There are admin tools in MS Teams that someone has to have access to, and probably a lot of corporate spyware that could inform your productivity and fireability.
If Chevron is just using binary badge tracking....... well that could be expected for this company.

No OPG ROM coming, but there are a couple BUs finding themselves ‘top heavy’ as projects head into phase 5…we all know who we are.

I have always enjoyed the almost unlimited opportunities in a ROM. I know the music will stop for me someday but so far they have all turned out great as I have been able to shift to better positions.
