Halliburton been cooking soon will be cooked but not under this administration. We will have to wait for another Enron incident for the spotlight to shine. As for me I sold my shares and got out of ESPP, no more propping up this house if cards.
You hit the nail on the head about Jeff’s past with Arthur Anderson. SEC needs to investigate. He’s greedy to inflate earnings to boost his stock shares. Keep in mind the S4 roll out was a complete flop and the chief accounting officer left. Real shady. Watch your back out there if you still working for the man.
The Enron and Arthur Andersen scandal was a major accounting scandal where the energy company Enron used fraudulent accounting practices to hide debt and inflate profits, which led to its bankruptcy in 2001. Enron's auditor, Arthur Andersen, was complicit in the fraud and due to its involvement, the accounting firm Arthur Andersen collapsed, and most of its 85,000 employees lost their jobs.
Jeff Miller start his career at Arthur Andersen, the now defunct accounting firm. Jeff knows a thing or two about 'creative' accounting practices....
The only reason they beat earnings is because they took costs that they claimed related to layoffs and restructuring the business out of the adjusted earnings per share number. Shady stuff.
@z0 Yes - layoffs!!!!
Do you smell what Halliburton is cooking?
Were expenses deferred to make the Q look better?
@s6
how did they lie?
definitely anytime someone big in accounting leaves it's never a good sign
Hal literally lied on their earnings. Shameful. I smell Enron! It will catch up to the greedy fat execs. Greasy financials. There is a reason the Chief Accounting Officer left. Don’t trust them.
@an U wake up u unwoke a $$
This is not true. If it were true and it is perform grey then we wouldn't have layoffs in the 4th quarter
I'm thinking fake news from woke a-s company!
