Moden wokplace and Platform X , no one can define technically what it is, all you get is large sells double talk. Been at DXC 12+ years and still don't know what it is

@3ybv+1lNUVRSx just to add to this post the current operations model is to promote apprentices, geads and juniors into operational leadership roles and then put them in front of the client so they can be used as meat shields by the actual DXC leadership

"You must be mistaken if you think grads are low paid fish. Their base salary is almost 30k and they have it written into their contract that they’ll fix fixed raise and promotion post grad scheme, which means they’ll be higher than avg salary for most people in 2-3 years."

Depends on who you and and qhether you're a grad or an apprentice. I was an apprentice who stayed for 6 years, started 14k and got an uplift to 18k end of my first year but my salary remained below £20k for my whole tenure and the only pay rise I got was a 3% which put me to £19.4k a year. They promised me a pay rise in line with a level promotion but it never came through so I left for a £45k role elsewhere

Bollocks to this company and the complete tw@s running it

ALL the new UK grads are working on improving the modern workplace offering and this has put DXC in a vantage position compared to the rest of the industry. This offering is led by great leaders and the grads deserve a good pay to keep the momentum. Way to go.

I’ve been with the company 15 years and I learned this week grads get paid more than me.

Most likely not. Not unless they are competing with industry veterans who are on the same salary as them.

Yes that is very common.
