Thread regarding CDW layoffs

Stop posting from your work phone, work email, or CDW Wi-Fi.

A couple of you have already been identified. Use your brains people! I can’t say more than that but you don’t want to be added to the next list in a few months.

@c8 not accurate. Our audit doesn’t reveal that. If confirmed, that would be a terminable offense. Pick your poison. Plus, you don’t want to hide behind your friends.

@bs that was also not from a cdw device nor our WiFi. You are talking big but still hiding behind the curtain. Leap

I agree it's not a great idea to post from a corporate device or network, but how do you know someone was already identified? Were they retaliated against for posting here? What did they write about? If it wasn't something proprietary, do you happen to know whether they sued CDW for violating their federally protected right to discuss wages, benefits, and working conditions with their peers?

@am
CDW got hacked in the past.
Maybe focus on preventing another Lockbit incident.

Is this also why it takes 30-45 minutes sometimes to get IT on the phone because some cr-p update caused system issues.

@ah that was not on a CDW device or on the CDW Wi-Fi either. If you feel froggy, leap.

Then post from your laptop now please. Put your money where your mouth is. We don’t see any CDW devices posting here.
