Except that 2nd IMEI's pay 0.5 and $50... so that doesn't make sense...
Personally, I don’t, I hate that promotion. It is a transparent attempt to falsify phone net additions. It has brought out the worst in many sales reps and managers who are pushing the reps who have integrity to abandon their morals while rewarding those who do not. With how quotas are set now, it is very difficult to make decent money without it for most reps, not many can actually sell the products and services we offer, our hiring standards have fallen off a cliff since Covid.
The churn in 3 years will be monumental. I cannot fathom why this was allowed to go to market or how someone high enough in the company with the authority to approve this fails to see how badly we are setting ourselves up for failure in the long run.
It is likely they know something I don’t know regarding the future of Verizon as a whole, but it is plain as day that this will not strengthen Verizon as a whole.
Actually I do know, those high enough to have stock options are artificially creating subscriber growth to please shareholders and raise the stock price, then will all sell right before the house of cards comes tumbling down. I am going to move my positions in Verizon over to astroglide, probably in late 2027 or early 2028
Enjoy it while it lasts because that promo is a house of cards.
