Pay increase without promotion?

Hello,

As the title suggests, has anyone received a pay increase without a title promotion (associate to senior associate to vp or so on)?

I feel like I am underpayed and my contributions to my team are not reflected in my current salary.

Is there anyway to formally request this?

Everyone is under paid. The only ones not are the newbies coming in and being offered way more than existing staff due to “cost of living” and “ competitive pay” and your analysts

Well like others, I was granted a promotion with zero raise!

Talk to your manager, show the good work that you do, build your case for a salary increase. You will likely get frustrated.
Do NOT expect anything will be given to you (even when you deserve it) if you don’t fight for it as this company doesn’t value meritocracy.
Take the reins of your career and you will soon realize the best option for a good increase is a new job.

If you have a offer from another company they may give a pay rise to try keep you. But if you had an offer lf a job with a higher salary why would you stay

Keep in mind that if you are asking this question, you are likely in some back office operations or IT (non-Eliza) cost center. If your manager isn't a senior director or above; it's really above their pay grade in granting you a pay increase.

It definitely does happen, I've received three raises without being promoted that I would consider significant (within the 15-30% range), but I am probably very much in the minority. It helps to have good performance and a reason for them to want to pay you.

No formal way to "request" other than to just speak with your manager and hope for the best. Two happened without me pushing, and one because I indicated I was unhappy with pay.
