@by+1jmz9y127 Because it is one of the business units that has the highest risk of layoffs due to its performance, everybody knows that. Come on.
@bm+1jmz9y127 Why would you be worried if you’re in GOM specifically tho?
Running around the stage pointing at the new org chart trying to convince us that’s the magic change that’s gonna make Chevron billions of more dollars.
Glad they spent 4 hours a week thinking about this, a whole 4 hours, 4 hours they said, wow!
@bm+1jmz9y127 How so?
If I were a worker at GOM I would definitely be very worried
What was the FE lady talking about? Was she arguing for her job in the townhall but said it’s hard for her to advance because her skills aren’t useful?
CN I live in London and I’m moving back to Houston to see my kids…blah blah….our people are the best ….our upstream model has silos…..between highly paid managers for sure….Who The f*ck came up with asset class leverage as a term. What a. Waste of time, glad I’m going against this don’t multi task in the office while listening to this rubbisg
What a waste of an hour and a half. Then I had another hour wasted on the debrief my BU had afterwards thinking there would be more information. Fu--ing he-l. Just have one meeting for everyone in the company and tell us all the information there. We don't need to waste 5 hours a week in townhall after townhall just to give people the illusion of transparency.
BN is the only one on LT that seems to be qualified for his role. Good lord the others just talk in circles.
I missed it! Will the recording be posted?
@am someone should break it to her that her career path is in admin.
Balajeet doing too much talking.
These guys talk SOOO MMMUUUCCCHHHH but say NOTHING !!!
OMG!
The HR lady is not nice to listen to.
leave it to a cowboys fan
Way to go for that FE lady for asking! Thoughtfulness is the answer girl!!! Lol
good god
@aj+1jmz9y127
YES. They needed a reason for LAYOFFS !!!
How do we layoff 20% of the company in a way that doesn't make us look weird....
Oh Lord, Tavia asked a question, now there’s a person who can’t stop talking. Chevron loves the mouthy people.
This town hall didn’t tell me a damn thing that was worth my time.
Don't worry, guys. CN said we're a "great company" at least 3 times so it must be true.
Wait, so we’re getting rid of a hybrid work model but we’re adopting a hybrid asset class model? To accommodate ABU? So confused.
The HR lady is nice to look at.
Wasting time with a staged question be this "new to Chevron" employee. There's real questions in the chat they clearly never intend to get to
Sooo that lady is the new external hire for corporate affairs… she’s a bit odd.
Both the Downstream and Upstream Townhalls were the Balaji show.
Take of leave of absence till they get it figured out. They should start preparing for the next 4-5 years to be better prepared for the next layoffs in 2030
I thought the invite said that it was Balaji's show?!
So much bullsh-t
This has been completely confusing. So we are changing the names. We will call them asset classes instead of BUs but they seem very much the same.
with SO MANY CHANGES, something bad will happen. It is just across the board and thing will go sideway. It looks a very chaotic way of reorg...
Where’s MN?
MN already hiding….i knew that he was exec material
He said they won’t show anything yet til the BU town halls lmaoooo translation they still don’t have it figured out yet. This is so sad bro lollll
Something about dry hole center of excellence
What the F did he just say about all the different types of upstream exploration? I’m already confused.
wtf is a workflow?
Is GOM / GOA cooked?
Who’s the guy presenting? Isn’t this supposed to be MN’s show?
