Check out compensation under workday. I think everyone should see an estimated severance package.

So I had this available and then it was removed from my WorkDay. Has everyone had theirs removed?
This has been in Workday for years. Wait until a email comes out giving the details! EASY TURBOS!!!
Last time I got laid off I was seriously and harshly reamed on the way out. I hate when they do that. My re---m is still sore from that!
Well I'm an a$$hole and I also am laid off and was Reamed on the way out. I'm better than both of you.
Is it only visible to US employees ?
@ax+1jkzw2s64
Turns out not all employees have this visible on the site and some people have had their information removed during the day.
I may be laid off but you’re an a$$hole. I bet you were a bully in high school. :)
@af+1jkzw2s64 you are probably d-mb who doesn't know where to find what on intranet and probably deserve to be fired.
@am+1jkzw2s64 A 50 year employee should have already left.
This is free money for someone in that position, hire an attorney? Come on.
Before you cry, I'll let you know I'm a 36 year employee, no whining here, I'll take my free 1 year of pay and bid this place farewell.
it's not fair that someone with 50 years of service gets one year of pay, same as someone with just 26 years of service. Check with your attorney if you are over 26 years service. Sign nothing.
If you cant figure out where to find this, you probably should not be working here.
If you know where to look and it doesn't show the severance estimate, are you a US Payroll employee? If not, you will NOT be eligible. Severance is only being offered to US employees.
Interesting. I recall being told that each Chevron internship counts as 1 year of experience at chevron. Should I bring it up to HR and ask for them re-evaluate severance to count my internship in the calculation?
If I go under compensation I see view and external links. View shows direct report compensation (I don’t have any) and external links shows leaving chevron benefits page with no specific details. Where do you guys see the weeks of pay?
@ab+1jkzw2s64 - They gave 3 weeks for Renewal 4 years ago. Everyone should work out /negotiate with their best interests in mind - NOT CVX.
CVX has shown us the way to think about our future first.
I don’t have an entry in my workday. I read on the instructions that if you have an entry then you are in scope for the reduction. Not 100% sure, but I do not have that visible in Workday.
check out hr2 site. 2025 SESP SPD doc. 2 weeks/yr, minimum 7 weeks, maximum 52 weeks.
It's definitely 8 week minimum because mine is showing 8 weeks and I only have 2 years
One of my buddies noticed his service with Texaco wasn't being counted in his estimate. If your background is similar, be sure to verify all your service is being counted.
2 weeks per year is is an extremely generous gift. Most companies don't give that. There was only once that I know of where folks got 3 to get closer to the year max. for more recent hires. Max is always 1 year pay. Quit complaining, that's generous. Work on your resume.
So what’s the math on this? Is it 2 months per year?
@a6+1 are you saying you’re only getting 2 weeks worth??
I'm a 36 year employee, mine is maxed out at 1 year. One of my direct reports is showing 2 weeks per year of service. His was easy as he has 10 years, so math showed 20 weeks of pay.
Mine is slightly less than 2 weeks pay per year of service.
Yes, mine is 4 weeks per year of service also and it looks like it maxed out at 2 years pay. Wonder if that is even correct?
Looks like it’s 8 week minimum.
Where in Workday?
hm... mine is 4 weeks per year. confusing
