Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Gas Prices Up. RTO Gets D-mber.

Gas prices keep climbing, yet we’re still pretending there’s a business case for forcing people to drive to an office five days a week to do work that happens on a laptop.

Every increase at the pump is another pay cut for employees.

More money spent commuting, time wasted in traffic for the same work and same Teams calls that can happen anywhere in the world.

The cost of RTO keeps going up. The benefits remain impossible to find.

"If you don’t like coming to work, quit."

I already have. I just have not told anyone at work yet. I am still collecting the checks though! Gotta love market culture.

@ba Nope. I'll continue to waste time and resources while collecting full paychecks, and if it makes you all cranky or laid off instead of me - that's just an added benefit. Sycophant su---r

@ba How profound you are…
You come to a platform called The Layoff and you don’t find the “complaining” to your liking. Yet here you are complaining. Guess what, easy solution, don’t come here! Ret4rd

If you don’t like coming to work, quit. Will make the upcoming layoffs easier. Stop complaining

@a4 , Exactly! What’s worse is the sociopaths surely relish in these high gas prices because it increases the financial strain on us plebes. They love anything that ratchet ups the pressure to drives folks out.

Stankey and most of his reports don’t care how we feel or are it impacts us. This is a tactical direction to force people out either termination or a voluntary surplus. There is zero accountability from Stankey and despite the stock price at low levels since he took CEO role. The Board is a joke and all they are just rubber stampers for the next deal they purchase despite the debt. No vision and always chasing !!

Sub-$20 stock price incoming.
Been saying it since the boomer bootlicking stock holding su-kers were on here bragging about ~$28.

We’re going sub-$20!

Did RTO help? Still got downgraded lmao.
