@ak They began notices for the 2023 layoffs in August. Didn't complete the layoffs until the end of September.
All the RIF paperwork takes time, effort and review.
@aw At this point you have to address it because they’ve been doing it consistently. The lies can’t be that blatant. Also they want stock prices to go up. Why hide it? Certainly they have thrown in the towel to improve employee morale.
I’ll give him props for at least addressing layoffs and stock price head on, even if slightly obtuse. Mike would just gloss over it.
Rumor is 30% reduction. Frontline will take the brunt due to T-Life and AI expansion. Most likely call center consolidation/ reduction.
You have announced the potential for large layoffs, possiblly impacting thousands of people, and it's going to be festering out there for the next 3-months. The direction forward may be correct, but the inability to understand the impact to your people is disgraceful, especially after spending the first 10 minutes saying how your people are your strength. You're undercutting your message.
Read between the lines- layoffs to continue.
