Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

idk about anyone else here but, I use a double VPN when I post/comment here

Maybe I'm paranoid but better safe than sorry... I pick a random country. Could be Sweden, maybe Germany, or maybe Albania. I'm in Canada but idk, I like to be a tad harder to trace just in case :)

@e4 I mean if you never signed the NDA then you are under no legal obligation in any way to NOT talk about it lol. I happen to be under the NDA and so I can't talk about it. Not that it's any secret anymore lmfao but, for those who know everything about the NDA and never signed it can say and do whatever tf they want without consequences.

@cn lol I have 3 home personal computers, actually. My desktop for gaming and 99% of stuff I do, my nifty razor pentesting laptop, and an alienware laptop I use for a paper weight.

@a9 Blocking cookies is obvious lol... I have a VM I could use but I hate VM's because they are far slower than I care to deal with more often than not. And you are 100% wrong. Assuming this website logs IP address's - which I'd bet they do - you absolutely can track a single comment or post to a specific IP address that the post/comment came from. A court order would be needed to get that info but depending on the website, comments/posts very much can be tracked back to YOUR IP address.

@ak I find paranoid people rarely have the intelligence to understand what threats are real and which aren't. Their minds are too concentrated on the fear.

Actual intelligent people realize that all they need to do is post on a computer at home, not make any threats, and they'll be perfectly fine.

IDGAF I post here from my work laptop on the office's wired network. I also talk openly and loudly about the NDA (no one ever made me sign anything) project while I am in the office.

As with any accusation you tell them you plead the fifth and won't answer questions. Especially so with HR. Never respond to their accusations.

nobody is bothering to try to find out who people are on a gossip site. if someone went too far posting real insider information that should be for C-suite (or maybe president/svp) level only.. maybe. beyond that its not worth anyones time to monitor peoples usage of a gossip site

I dont care. The toxic team members lost their jobs after they pushed me out. I got another job, they are all jobless after 18 months. I LOVE IT !!!
Time is a Great leveller !
These people gave each other "exemplary" linkedin referrals, none of them got any job. And they didnt even want to update their "end-of-job" on linkedin.
I LOVE IT !
The VP PdM is a failure. Absolutely no one thinks he knows anything after he managed to crash the product. He is a joke

@a9 People this paranoid know how to block browsers using cookies, use specific browsers, or even spin up a new vm or container for every session. They’re also not wrong.

You're right, you're paranoid.

You're also not really stopping any tracking. An IP address isn't going to tie you to a post, but the cookies your browser sends just might.

Either way it'd take a court order.
