It’s approximately the amount budgeted in the quarterly report. Public information for everyone to see. Just have to know where to look
@md where is the approx 3000 coming from?
It’s going to be brutal. Approximately 3000 in total. Pepsi is planning to save its way to prosperity. Leadership must do something substantial to move the stock price that has been stagnant for over 5 years. Big swings, home runs or strike outs. With all the strike outs we’ve had we’re due for a 4 bager. I see more strike outs and getting moved to the minors.
@at odd starts Jan 2026 after the warehouse shutdowns and layoffs/restructure. Probably new delivery system. The only Pepsi employee left will be Ramon with his big paycheck, private plane, bonus and perks. He can’t afford the employees
Volunteer retirement package. key words volunteer & retirement. Severance is usually involuntary
What’s the difference between VRP and severance?
What package is that ?
@at moving another package to direct store delivery and take off our trucks similar the the case pack water deal
@ak No VRPs doesnt make sense when they are in a position where they have to do big layoffs. Why have to terminate more people who dont want to go so that they can keep people who likely cost them more money and would be willing to go voluntarily ?
@av That's not true at all. They have just as many reasons as they did when they offered it less than a year ago.
VRP days are over, they have no reason to offer one
Got a call tomorrow for a product distribution change starting in 2026. It’s called project sparkle. Any idea what this is about? Beverage division.
Are there expected layoffs of frontline in the beverages division?
I’m hearing yes / no on VRPs. It’s all over the place
Hearing 1st week of December major Reorg from multiple sources but no details. So we’ve all got 4 weeks to ponder what’s going to happen. Getting the plant closures out of the way prior to the big reveal.
