Is there a US based layoff coming in the next month? Wondering because we have all hands scheduled in the next two weeks so seems like it might be weird to have an all hands during layoffs

@b6 good grief. The transformation grift continues. How many overlapping transformation teams does it take to fail until the board forces layoffs again? Energized and excited for another army of do nothings to declare the art of the possible north stars.
During recent VPs and above all-hands meetings the answer has been "Yes, there will be, but we don't know when"
These type of answers tell you that these jokers do not really know what is going on.
but looking at things and from emails, Alfonso's team is getting larger, he is announcing more leaders joined his transformation effort and more to come. He is even making changes into alignment on SVPs reporting to Joe.
Lots of duplications are still exist, Other large teams still exist and challenges to justify their size is getting heated
given all that , there has to be some cleanup coming up, no timing though.

Current rumor I have heard is this week on the 19th
There are many unconfirmed reports suggesting another round will happen soon, likely around April 1st. I imagine this might be timed up with the last release of stock options happening around the same time.
I have also heard various aspects of other potentials. Maybe another group of separation packages, maybe reduction in force, maybe a performance improvement plan (precursor to reduction in force). I think many people are concerned about the future, although the truth still remains hidden.
All I know is that I sharpened my resume and applied to new positions outside the company recently. Verizon is becoming increasingly toxic, I would be happy to embark on a new journey.
