@84x sorry but your STI will be prorated for the number of pay periods actually worked.
I resigned back in jan of of 16 I received my full 15 sti.. however I actually just came back to the company and was knocked out durring the first rif and although I didnt work all of 25 will receive my full sti.
@aj you are only ineligible for the current year STI if you resign, not the prior year that hasn't been paid yet as long as you are on the payroll 12/31/xx

I assume you meant paid for 2025. Yes, as long as you are still active on the payroll on 12/31/25. However, you will not receive it until March with everyone else. To everyone else's point, why don't you let your boss know of your interest in leaving and wait for the next RIF. You may not have to wait long and then you'd get severance and a prorated 2026 STI as well.

Correct if you dont work until the end of 2025 no sti. Resign jan get the 2025 sti, this is my plan too.
If you don't get cut tomorrow, why not stay and volunteer for the next one so you still get your pay, benefits, accumulate more, and then roll out with a severance? I don't know how much they take in tax, but it could still be a nice adder. Then you also have time to scope and learn the job market (if needed) while still employed.
What's the phrase... Don't cut your nose off despite your face? Something like that. And, the devil you know is better than the devil you don't. In this case, the devil being VZ, not Dan-Dan the ninja warrior.

Yes, of you work the entire plan year you will get it. You will not get 2026 STI if you resign, though.
Your bonus is part of your compensation. They will pay the full 2024 because you were employed for all of 2024. The company has always been fair about compensation in my experience.
