Anyone else feeling like this career hub updating and learnings have an ulterior motive to it besides just helping us develop and grow our career?

Wise up. Its so they can move WHO they want to WHERE they want based on " business needs".
@ec this website is the survey lol. I think people are mentioning not having any opportunities for growth due to issues of “who” certain leaders allow to grow. You’re right though, why should employees mention it if the people reading the surveys can’t comprehend what the real issue is.
@1ey LOL no it was created to give those that qualify more work but no bonus, while those that don't qualify get less work and a bonus for what everyone else does
Was the bonus structure created to give employees that qualify- less work and employees that don’t qualify more work?
It’s literally just because they’re slowly transitioning all of CNET over to Sharepoint. It’s a messy rollout and should have all been done at once but instead they are slow rolling, with various departments taking the opportunity to update their content (which in most cases hasn’t been edited or even looked at in years).
I was told it is a result of people repeatedly saying in the monthly surveys that there are no defined growth opportunities or paths within Centene.
My directs got smart years ago and stopped putting stuff like that in surveys (they come to me directly with it instead) because they realized it usually results in formal action plans to address the complaint, and they honestly don't want to be bothered with it.
It is designed to make you believe your career will grow in the company, so you stick around at low pay with your current role as long as possible
@aj my supervisor comprehends, spells, and writes sentences on a 2nd grade level. I don’t expect my supervisor to understand growth at all.
@OP Ulterior motive is more like it.
I think it is a waste of time and money on yet another AI-fueled application that will never work correctly - like Cenpas. Also, I don't believe it was created to help anyone "advance" their career. I have been with the company for 9 years. If they really wanted to "grow my career," they would already know what I am capable of and offer me a position without making me jump through hoops and apply like I don't already work for the company. I mean, seriously, if your supervisor doesn't know what tasks you perform, if you do them well, acknowledge and recommend you - there is something wrong. I feel like making you take learnings and assigning you work outside of what your actual role is "to get experience" - is just a sneaky a-s way of getting you to do work you're not getting paid for. Otherwise, I am not sure what motive it could be but it is not to benefit the current employees.
