If Dallas is 5 x 8, how are you managing kids pickup and drop off at schools. Don’t your spouses work or are you having to cut short work? At this time I am thinking ATL is better as it is still 3 x 8

Dallas S U C K S!!!
ATL is most certainly NOT 3x8. Depends on your org. Mine has been 5x8 for 2.5 years now.
This place is making me hate my life.
Have your kids find a way to get to school. This is be a real world problem good for them to start working through.
AT&T is not a babysitter. Pay for childcare like most of us do.
@am Not everyone can ride the bus due to distance restrictions!
Don't mess with Texas!
I gave this company every thing and I see the end coming. I regret not upskilling and I have started to do so now.
20 years ago I would have never guessed that in 2025 if your not allowed to work from home you were being abused by your employer.

Huh? We’re 5X8
@b9 those were the good day’s when the wifey could stay home Did need 2 income family less inflation
Today folks look to moonlight at Amazon to make ends meet for the American dream
At this time I think America has been doing 8 to 5 for generations. Or let someone else that needs a job take your job so that it frees up your time.

You're not thinking, and you're wrong.
Just like we did back before Covid. We coped.
More importantly, how do you get your tennis and golfing time in?
Snowflake kids expect to be chauffeured to school and back. Only the unpopular students ride the nasty bus.
@af since the office is an hour away I now leave work an hour earlier than I did when I was working from home and only had to drive a mile down the road to pickup my kids.
@ag schools are within the same town you live in.. likely 5-10 minutes away… 99% of people do not live this close to an office. Are you really this dümb?
Yes you now have to pay $2,200 per month for 5 days childcare. Just like the extra $$ you now need to shell out for gas, tolls, and car maintenance. You also won’t get a raise (again) and your bonus will be slashed because new increased building maintenance (RTO related costs) hurt our bottom line. #LifeAtATT
Thank you Mr OP for exposing the real reason people cry about the loss of WFH. Golf, tennis, Costco runs, taking kids to school, walking dogs-the list goes on. You don't mind driving to school and back twice a day, but driving to an office is terrible and unfair. "But at home I work 12 hours a day" BS
It’s called childcare, yeah I know it’s crazy, but there are businesses that do that and sometimes your schools have some afterschool programs. I’m sure you remember it when you were a kid. I know the younger parents aren’t used to it as they’ve not had to do it before. It’s not ideal, and you’ll have to juggle to get there in time to pick them up, but it’s possible.
ATL is not 3x8. We are 8x5 in ATL for over a year.
There's this thing called after school childcare and people use it.
Public school buses. Put your kids on the cheese.
