Looks like the same number of VPs reporting to MW. the boxes underneath shifted. What’s really changed that’s going to accelerate CVX?

Given the huge personnel cuts, SURELY that will mean lower compensation for the ELT, since they will have thousands fewer employees under their command, right? RIGHT??? Otherwise that would make them complete and utter self-serving lying sacks of 💩.
Oh, I know, I know, but I just love to stir the pot with my morning coffee.
15-20% cut is net. The cuts in the US are much deeper, and the growth in other areas offset that.
The number for US job cuts is greater than 30%
They said 15-20% reduction at all levels. Looks like they failed to achieve that in the number of direct reports to MW. Off to a good start!?!?!
What changed? Your compensation and employee experience are about to rank and keep tanking until all are fired and replaced by Indians. Executives will be ok though.
@ah+1jm2sgevr, where did you get your information?
We'll fail in new ways but it'll only cost $4 dollars vs $10 to do so...
It looks like CVX is targeting Engineers, Procurement and IT folks. They came up with a target number of job reductions, then put together an organizational chart change to try and justify it.
Each box has 20% less people who aren’t supervisors.. fire from the bottom keep the super expensive managers around.. genius idea
Every time they “simplify” they have a way of making things more complicated and difficult. I expect that will be the case this time too.
Each of the boxes contains 15 - 20% less people
Yeah. Nothing changed yet they present it as though it's a new org structure. They just used new PowerPoint with new borders for the boxes.
New organization will ban after hours Mario Cart races on the mezzanine levels. Better get your Mario and Luigi fixes met before July.
Mindset
Executives never take the hit or feel the pin. They will be giving each other bonuses for firing us all.
